Off to CA this evening. The flight gets in latter than my usual, but that flight was booked so I took a later one. Will stay with my friend Donna tonight, then on to the desert for a week of work. Looking forward to being around old friends and being busy.

Still a bit worried about my bunnys, as the hay I ordered from CA didn't come in and probably won't until Wednesday. But that's the way it is, so maybe they will get used to local stuff and it will actually be a good thing. I hope all goes well while I am gone.

Chivito & Busgey have been running around playing this morning. Chivita has come a long way in the last 2 months. He doesn't hide in the closet so much anymore and has ventured out of the room a couple of times. He's getting fat for lack of exercise.

Just getting started with this journal. I'm not much on these things usually, but my family is so I'm going to try, since they are all over the place.

Right now I'm looking for hay to feed to my 3 rabbits. I have to fly to CA for a week, leaving Sunday, and don't have hay for the buns. I just moved here from CA and didn't realize that oat hay is a non-commodity in NC, unless you get it when they mow it and have a place to store all you need until the next year. HA!!! I have been trying out some of the local hay & straw. Got a bale of rye straw last week and all 3 buns stuck up their noses at it. Bought a bale of fescue today. Big Rabbit did eat a little, don't know yet about Patches or Abby.

Wishing I had more to do these days, but this took a couple of hours to setup so that helped past the time. Oh, well, I guess I'll do another Suduko puzzle or something until supper - leftovers night.
